Happy Mid Term Festival
Mid Terms are on!! Seems like time pass so quickly, its already more than half the semester through. And now we get our first taste of NUS tests. Haiz. So everywhere you go now, you see people mugging like there's no tomorrow. And this is only mid terms. Imagine final exam... no I can't imagine.
Anyway just had 2 mid term papers today. Engineering Fac sux lor. Kns, dun know how to arrange tests one. Had one test in the morning from 1115 - 1215. Then the next test was at 715 - 845 at NIGHT lor. Knn. What the hell are we supposed to do for 6 hours in between??? In the end I also go library and sleep. Crap lor, this type of lousy timing. The lecturers should take module CS1101T - Common Sense for Test times. And maybe MKT1003 - Mid-term Kana Ten upon ten - How to set mid term test papers so students will confirm score. And maybe BSP1004 - Ban Study/Subject Pools - How not to put study/subject pools as part of module requirements. And maybe FNA1002 - Fun and Nice Assignments - How to give students assignments that are fun and nice to do. And score too. And also MNO1001 - Make Notes 0 dollars - Find ways, like cutting lecturers' pay, so that notes are free to all students. And BSP1005 - Buay Sai la Projects - How to modify projects such that they won't take up so much of students' precious time. Or ST1131A - Shit, Test Again?? - How to make tests easy and spaced out, like test only once per year or none at all.
On top of that I think I'm taking another module,
Module code: Not reveal-able.
Term Tests: Tests are impromptu and percentage of final grade are determined by lecturer. Each test might have very few questions. But questions are usually unanswerable. So in other words, you just fail the tests la.
Lectures: Every single day.
Tutorials: Same as lectures.
Projects: Occasional projects on certain periods. Projects are optional. But might account for up to 100% of the final grade, depending on how good the project is. So you can do 1 project and pass the module instantly or do 100 projects and still fail the module.
Course outline: Basically this course is not restricted to 1 sem only. Might spill over to infinity depends on how good you are. Chances are, it will spill over 1 sem. Topics cover basically everything. And the best part is, you have to find out the topics yourself, cos the lecturer won't tell you anything. And if during the course of this module, u feel very demoralised, too bad, hey you signed up for this module rite? Nobody forced you.
Workload (Lecture hours per week - tutorial hours per week - hours of assignments - hours of preparatory work):
(24x7 - 24x7 - 24x7 - 24x7) Basically all your time. You sleep also think of this module - It's that good.
Oh and MC: 0 MC. And naturally this module un-S/U-able. Strictly core module.
People interested in this module/not sure wat crappy module this is, pls ask Huimin. LOL.
