One Night in Tokyo: Day 3

People complain about my humping/gay bear pic. "How can you do this to such a cute bear???" Well, I just did it. LOL.
Anyway...

Day 3
Woke up in the morning bathe liao then dress up and go to the nearby 7-eleven for breakfast. It's routine every morning cos we poor NSFs can only afford 7-eleven food. And plus they offer HOT FOOD!! It's god-send in the morning chill. Anyway, before we left we remembered to take a photo of our 'hotel' exterior:

Waddaya expect? It's only a 3-storey 'hotel'...
So this day we supposed to go to Odaiba. Odaiba is basically a man-made offshore island. It was a dumping ground. Or sea watever u call it. Then now that it is solid land, they built alotta shopping centres there. And they are big. The one unique building they have there is the Fuji TV Station. No, we didn't catch any Jap stars there. The one with the ball (dun ask me wat the ball is for. So that they are more productive? Lol.) is the station:

After walking around the malls for the morning, we met Rich relatives again for lunch. They paid for it. Naturally. :) In case u're thinking, we didn't rip them off. We paiseh wat.
Then after lunch, we decided we had enough of Odaiba. (It's just shopping centres man. Singapore also have - and cheaper too) So Rich's relatives gave us a car ride out of Odaiba and to Harajuku. Along the way we passed by the Imperial Palace:

You can't see the Imperial Palace from outside the palace grounds (which we were) for the simple reason that its the Imperial Palace. Can't just let you see so easily mah. Must dua pai abit.
So Rich's relatives dropped us off at Harajuku and we bid them goodbye. Harajuku is basically a shopping area for young people. (I'm still young wat. Dunno about Rich though. LOL.) The main busy area is this looooong street with alotta shops on both sides. And when we say busy area, we mean it:

So walk walk walk and bought some crepes to eat. It seems to be a new fad there, the crepes. Maybe we should import it here. Wahaha. K sorry, imagination ran wild. So basically that was all for that day.
Would like to point out here some novel things about Japan. They basically have Drink Vending Machines everywhere. But they also have cigarettes vending machines all over the place:

Then like that little kids can go puff liao la? Maybe the machine abit tall, small kids cannot reach. Then also cos space is so precious in Tokyo, their carparks look like this:

Basically u drive your car in to that slot, then the operator (yes, they actually employ a few guys to do this shit.) will press the machine and it will lift your car and stack it somewhere. Cool huh?
Maybe should do this in Singapore. But scarcely later machine spoil then car get stuck there u du lan. Worse, later one metal bar crack then the cars all collapse down like movie like that. But cars there cheap wat. Oh well.
