Back Here. Back Now.
Back from KL!
Went to KL for 3 days 2 nights. Its short, but it'll do. I needed the break anyway. Can forsee working for the next 2 months till August and then busy school starts. *Sniff*
Anyway, went to KL via those 'Luxury Bus' that comes with an LCD screen for each seat and got meals on board one. But actually I tell you, its really quite crappy. The only thing I appreciated about the bus is the very comfortable seats and huge leg room. Come on, the movies they showed were quite limited and not very recent. Like Narnia The Lion the B**ch & the Wardrobe, Memoirs of a Gay-sha etc. And the worst is that each channel is one continuous track on its own and you have no control over it. (ie. u can't pause the movie. Only the bus operator can pause it. So u watch finish one movie and wanna change to another channel, the other show is prob halfway through.) And they say they cannot screen the movies whilst in S'pore for some 'reason'. Must be cos the movies are pirated ones la. And the food sux. For Army guys, think SFI. Simple as that.
But the hotel I stayed in was very good. Its near the Twin Towers so very near to the shopping districts. And being a 4 star hotel, its rooms are very big and clean. Actually wats the difference between a 4-star and 5-star hotel? Ok, apart from one more star and the difference in price. Maybe the swimming pool, cos this swimming pool is so darn small, little kids can stand in it. Anyway u dun go there to swim rite?
But anyway, dear people, please clear this misconception that m'sian goods are cheaper. Ok, the food is cheaper (by abit. Like Coffee Bean S'pore sell $6+ there sell $5+) and the services like haircut is cheaper. (Hey, I got a haircut there at $6.) But the clothes/fashion accessories/shoes etc are not cheap. Especially with the S'pore Sale going on now, the things here are cheaper man. And nicer too. Since when did the M'sian standard of living rise so high? U mean they dun use protons anymore?? Basket, even their toilets in shopping centres still charge 10 RM for entry lor. Cheapskates. So go there also can't buy alot. The only things that are real cheap there are the Illegal DVDs and Fake Branded stuff. And these also must bargain lor, those cheapskates, quote price as if they are original liddat. Knn. But of course never buy these la. Buy pirated CDs later kana caught then fine.
And its also bloody hot there also. Think worse than S'pore. No wonder they keep saying wanna cut our water. In this weather they can be desert liao la.
But ok la. Overall kinda enjoyed it. At least get to slack for a few days. (Well, as I am now, its already quite slack... but Oh Well.) Now legs very tired from walking so much.
