Happy V Day

Valentine's Day was one busy day this year. Rag Comm worked with FOC to do fund raising by conducting V Day sales. Trust me, you WON'T want to do it. Planing alone took a few weeks to liase with the flower wholesalers and all the publicity. The best part was none of us knew how to wrap flower bouquets. Sian. So I had to learn from my sis and then teach the rest. That being said, I stayed over in school on Monday and Tuesday just to rush all the bloody orders. Grrr... And I had a grand total of 5 hours of sleep for that 2 days! -_-"
Sounds like grumbling rite? Wahaha... to less serious matters. Firstly, I realised I'm GOOD at wrapping flower bouquets. Lol. So if next year's Rag comm come and find me to help them, I'll ask them to pay me. Heh heh.
Secondly, let it be known to all that Adelyn is administratively WEAK. Kaoz. Count number of bouquets also can count wrong... Make us produce 2 more bouquets than needed. -_-"
Thirdly, Pauline's Brownies are NICE! They taste good! But I didn't buy any brownies. Then how I know they taste good? Erm... heh heh...
Lastly, this year's V Day Sales Comm is ZAI one. The $$ we earned has exceeded all past records. We're Good! Lol.

Swamped

And the work comes flooding in. Now that tutorials have started, we are slowly and surely getting flooded by tutorials and projects. Add to this all the fund-raising activities of the various FOP projects and the main work of all the different club committees and what have we got? Sheer lunacy.
Actually its very odd. We raise funds for Rag so we have $$ to build nice nice float as a show of apprciation to the public for their kind donations on Flag Day. Ironic rite? We have to spend $$ to thank others for their $$. LOL. But it so turns out that Rag and Flag has become so competitive over the years, so we too bad la.... go with the flow and end up drowning.
Then plus this year the stoopid nussu wanna hold Rag Day at the Padang. This is ridiculous la. Just think of the logistics. How the heck are they gonna bring the bloody float from NUS to Padang. Technically, the float is mounted on a truck and is mobile. But we all know that the float is not the sturdy types they use in chingay k? What the heck. Then we also don't paint our floats. We marche (as in use starch as glue, for the unacquianted) paper onto our floats to give them the colour. And for basic knowledge, starch NOT = super glue. Basket, nussu wants the road from NUS to Padang to be filled with the paper/wood/metal falling out from our float issit? Then if halfway on the journey to padang rain how? What the heck. Go out of NUS 1 nice float, reach padang one soaked through piece of wood. Crap.
Urghh... but in any case, Rag still goes on... and so does the fund-raising, acad publicity and projects... Getting cui already... haha...
