JJ Weekly Review

Sick now. Not cos of World Cup Fever. (I dun have SCV, let alone $$ sucky world cup channel.) But still gotta work yesterday, today and tomorrow. Xianz...
Anyway, Week in review: Germany (Duh), Ecuador, England, Sweden (Although as I'm writing this they are already on the way out by trailing 2 - 0 to Germany), Argentina, Holland, Spain, Ghana, Australia, Ukraine, PORTUGAL(Yeah, yeah!), BRAZIL (Fatty Scores!!), Switzerland, France (Crap, how the heck did they do it?), Italy & Mexico qualified for the 2nd round in the World Cup. And in the end, BRAZIL will win. They play like crap still can win.
And next will like to congratulate my fren on officially getting a gf. Lol. The first in our group of losers to get a gf. Surpassed all our expectations. Well done. All the best to u 2 ah. If u can't come for soccer on some days, we'll understand. Lol.
And next is a special announcement that AHM 06 will be exactly 2 months away. Anybody wanna join me?? And I bet with Mak that I'll beat him by 30 mins. If I do that, my time will be... 1 hr 15mins? Effectively I'll be top 5 in S'pore liao. Lol. But anyways...
Lastly, since I'll be working next saturday: To Qingyao (Sorry, I think I can't attend your celebrations on 1 July), HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY!!! lol. And i think since I won't have a chance to write on your bday card, I'll say it here (Actually I write the same thing for everyone celebrating 21st bday): Enjoy your 21st Birthday - U only celebrate it once. LOL.

Another Working Wek

6-Day work-week!! Kaoz... Cos 1 of the cashiers fell sick, I gotta work 6 days this week... AND next week... Kns. But at least I get paid for it. But I don't get paid for some of those knnbccb customers I meet. And I can't say "Screw U, understand?".
Then basket, this week my house got some renovation works going on, so my house is now so damn messy, so damn dusty and so damn noisy. Actually, these people are here only to hack off my balcony sliding door, hack off my balcony grilles and replace with windows, paint my living room, kitchen bathroom ceiling and re-coat my kitchen cabinets. So actually not alot. Oh wait....
Anyway, this all will finish by Monday, and then... die, have to clean everything and re-pack everything. Then now worse. My father took leave this whole week to supervise the renovation, then he got so inspired by the painter's superb ceiling-painting skills that he bought his own paint and brushes to start painting THE REST OF THE HOUSE. Naturally, this painting won't be done by the same workers cos they are NOT PAID TO DO IT. We got different workers to paint the rest of the house: FREE LABOUR.
And the best part is my mom and sis are now enjoying themselves in Hong Kong while all this renovation shit is going on and will only be back by Monday. So, it means there's only ME & MY FATHER to paint the whole damn house. Knn. And plus I gotta work both today and tomorrow (we started painting today.), it means I early in the morning go work come home at 7 and then paint house till 11 pm. Basket.
Then this few days can only eat the da-bao rice cos got can't cook in the kitchen (And plus 2 guys can't cook anything but instant noodles. My dad claims he can cook very delicious pineapple rice, but i dun trust him...) so we 2, basket, like construction workers sit on the living room floor eat packet rice then finish liao continue painting.
But ok la, can't really complain. The living room does look nicer after I painted it. (Read: Self-praise.)

"How can it be?? You people are YAMAHA - The largest distributors of Music books in Singapore. How issit possible you don't have this book? You got check properly or not?"
"Yes Mdm, its ***** right? We really don't have this book. Very Sorry."
"No. You all sell so many books how come this one don't have? You don't sell who sell??"
"Oh Mdm, we sell mostly exam-oriented books. So most of our selections are catered for the exams one."
"Ya. This is an exam piece what."
"It is an exam piece? For which Grade Mdm?"
"No, I mean this is used to practice for the exams. This is a very famous piece what. You mean you never hear it before?"
"Er, haha, no, never hear before. Sorry."
"What?? How can it be?? You obviously know NOTHING about music huh?"
"Haha... Ya, I'm not musically inclined."
"This is ridiculous! How can you, selling music books, know NOTHING about music?? How can they employ people like you?? You mean when they employ people, they employ blindly one issit??"
"No, Mdm, I'm only a cashier..."
"That's the problem with Singapore! The people don't know what they are doing! They try to sell things they know NOTHING about! People selling books know Nothing about books. Even people selling cars know NOTHING about cars. And this is damn irritating!!"
"Well, Mdm, I don't know about that, but I can double-check the book again for you if you want. How do you spell that? **..."

The Day After...

The Day after my birthday. Despite last night's drinks, I don't have a hangover. In fact, that Justin and Joel say what alcohol makes you sleep better. Bullshit. I keep waking up in the middle of the night... couldn't sleep. But actually was experiencing this type of restless nights for a few weeks already. Dunno why. Crap.
And it so happens that we celebrated my grandma's birthday today also. But actually, I dun know when's her actual birthday... just celebrate around this period won't be wrong liao. Lol. So we (we = my family + my uncle's family + my grandma) went to Turf City (The old turf club la. Can't be the new one at Kranji rite? Celebrate birthday by betting on horses issit?) to have lunch at some seafood restauant. But the food was really good. Had Mini Buddha Jump over the Wall (Why they call it thus? I dun see any buddhas nor walls...), Crab (Full of Crap), Drunken prawns (Like I hadn't drunk enough yesterday...) etc and cake.
Then after all the good food yesterday and today, had to go play soccer and run it off. Basket, so long never play soccer liao... Then today play field some more. And kana thrashed some more. CMI. Lol.
Think we challenge them Winning 11 better... That one we sure win.

Happy Birthday to Me...

Today is my 21st Birthday. Did nothing really. Just went to have dinner with some friends. Will like to Thank those who came for the dinner. Was actually a farewell dinner for Mdm Chris also, but anyways... Thank You Mdm Janis, Mdm Chris, Mak, Justin, Jiahui, Leroy, Rich, Zhixuan & Joel.
After the dinner went to Novena Square to have a few drinks. Basket, that bloody Justin (Now can scold him cos I no longer in NS. Haha...) make me drink approximately 3 cans of beer + 1 glass of Vodka. (Joel's fren was there, so he gave me the vodka on hearing it's my birthday.) Kns. Made me puke in the toilet cos drink the beer too fast. Too fast + too full = puke. But the most important thing is, I'm still sober. See, can still type all this shit.
Anyway, today is my birthday, so won't blame them. But I still don't like alcohol --- bloody bitter. Kns.
